Chocolate "Pumpkin" Cake/Muffins
1 box cake mix (chocolate and spice are best)
1 (15 oz) can solid pack Pumpkin
1/2 cup water
Preheat oven to 400°. Grease an 8x8 cooking pan.
In a large bowl combine all ingredients.
DO NOT add anything else (no eggs, oil, etc). The batter will be VERY thick.
Pour batter into pan, smoothing (the batter will hold the shape it is in...so smoothing makes it look prettier).
Bake for 30-40 minutes (varies due to different ovens) or until a toothpick test in center comes out clean.
NOTE:
Same recipe can be used for muffins but cook at 400° for 30 minutes.
