1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp baking soda
¾ tsp salt
5½ cups flour
1. Cream butter and sugar in mixer.
2. Beat in eggs, vanilla, sour cream, soda, salt. Scrape sides and make sure well blended.
3. Add flour a cup at a time, mixing well.
4. Chill 20 minutes.
5. Roll out and cut into shapes.
6. Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes until very light brown.
Yields: 24 cookies
