One Bowl Brownies


4 squares Unsweetened Baking chocolate, chopped
¾ cup (1½ sticks) butter/margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)


1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil, extend ends over edges. Grease foil.

3. Microwave chocolate and butter in a large microwaveable bowl on high for 2 minutes or until butter is melted.

4. Stir until chocolate is melted. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

5. Add flour, mix well. Spread into prepared pans.

6. Bake 30-35 minutes of until an toothpick inserted comes out with fudgy crumbs. DO NOT OVERBAKE!!!

7. Cool in pan on wire wrack. Remove brownies from pan, using foil like handles.


Yields: 12 “REAL” brownies

NOTES:
like to add a few morsels on top. These are so good they don't need frosting but then again...can you really have too much chocolate?!?
